Boulder, Colorado (United States of America) - "BolderBoulder". The BOLDERBoulder has always been for everyone regardless of ability. Our mantra is "Oh Yes You Can!" We have walking, jogging and running waves so everyone can enjoy all 10 kilometers at their own pace. The BOLDERBoulder was founded in 1979 as a small, local 10K, and since has grown to be one of the largest and most respected community running events in the world. We remain locally owned and operated. Every year we celebrate Memorial Day with roughly 40,000 participants and 70,000 spectators. The finish line is at the University of Colorado's Folsom Field, which becomes the perfect venue for everyone to gather and watch the professional race and the Memorial Day Tribute. The International Pro Team Challenge attracts some of the best male and female athletes from around the world. They finish around 11:45am in the packed stadium with a cheering crowd. Loveland, Colorado (United States of America) - "Crazy Legs 10k Trail Run". The race begins at 7:00am and held at Devil's Backbone Open Space 1725 Hidden Valley Drive in Loveland. All runners will be able to select a hat with a random patch on it like I did last year. The course will be marked by flour arrows. There will be a water stop near the 3 miler mark you will hit it twice. It will be just water and Gatorade if you need more fluids please carry a hydration pack. The aid station will be manned by volunteers from the Loveland High School Band. I will be providing them a donation is appreciation for their help. Carpool if possible as this parking lot gets filled up quick. I was informed by the Supervision that you NEED to purchase pass for Devil's Backbone Open Space or you will be ticketed. Up and Running Physical Therapy will be at the race please check them out at upandrunningpt.com. We will be having our awards ceremony at Loveland Aleworks 118 West 4th Street, Loveland, Colorado 80537 beginning at 10:30 please check them out at lovelandaleworks.com/ales. Sweet treats at the awards ceremony will be provide by Red Branch Bakery their website is redbranchfoods.com. We do old school timing after you finish you will receive a stick. The Fox on the Run is a 10-mile and a 5-mile trail race that starts and finishes near the Turkey Springs Guard Station. The 5-mile race course follows the single-track loop of the Turkey Springs Trail (301) around the Turkey Springs Guard Station. The 10-mile race course follows the 5-mile race course but adds an out-and-back loop on the Turkey Springs Trail, Newt Jack Road, and the Park Avenue trail.
